			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The American Street Rod Association would like for you to join them and <a href="http://www.rantoulchamber.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Vintage_HotRod_Entry_2010.pdf" target="_blank">participate</a> in its&#8217; First Inaugural &#8220;Vintage Weekend&#8221; national Street Rod Event.  The 3 day event will showcase some of the Nations&#8217; Finest Street Rods while at the same time promote the Heritage of Rantoul, Illinois Octave Aviation Museum.</p>
<p>They expect to attract 1,000 &#8211; 2,000 Street Rods to our Inaugural Event, while at the same time, share this history with thousands of spectators from throughout the Midwest and beyond.</p>
<p>This event starts on September 23rd with participant and vendor set-up, downtown cruise &amp; dance.</p>
<p>September 24th will be the first of 3 days of Street Rod Car Show, Swap meet, parts vendors, food court, seminars, Octave Museum vintage planes, entertainment.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Join us on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 7:15 p.m. for the Rantoul Area Chamber of Commerce 5K Walk &amp; Run. You can <a href="http://www.rantoulchamber.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/5k-registration2.pdf" target="_blank">download and complete the registration form </a>and mail it in along with your payment to reserve your place and your race shirt.</p>
<p><em>Each registered Runner/Walker will receive free admission to the  “Rocking the Runway Firecracker Bash” on the evening of the race.</em></p>
<h4><strong>Entry Fees and Deadlines and Rules</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li> <a href="http://www.rantoulchamber.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/5k-registration2.pdf" target="_blank">Register</a> before June 14 and pay only $20 (after June 14, registration fee is $25).</li>
<li> Your <a href="http://www.rantoulchamber.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/5k-registration2.pdf" target="_blank">registration form</a> and payment must be received by 4 p.m. on June 14 to receive a race shirt!</li>
<li> Entry fee of $10 for kids 10 and under registered by June 14.  $15 for entrants registered after June 14 and on race day.</li>
<li>Race day registration and packet pickup from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.</li>
<li>No pets,  bicycles, roller blades or skate boards are allowed on the race course.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Divisions and Awards</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li> 5K Divisions  Male &amp; Female  10 and under,  11-14,   15-19,   20-29,   30-39,  40-49,   50-59,   60 and over.</li>
<li>Walkers Division  Male &amp; Female   10 and under,   11 and over.</li>
<li>Trophies presented to the 1<sup>st</sup> overall male and female runners in the 5K.  Awards will be presented to 1<sup>st</sup> – 3<sup>rd</sup> places in each age division of the 5K race and Walkers race.</li>
</ul>
<p><em><br />
Each registered Runner/Walker will receive free admission to the “Rocking the Runway Firecracker Bash” on the evening of the race.</em></p>
