They expect to attract 1,000 – 2,000 Street Rods to our Inaugural Event, while at the same time, share this history with thousands of spectators from throughout the Midwest and beyond.

This event starts on September 23rd with participant and vendor set-up, downtown cruise & dance.

September 24th will be the first of 3 days of Street Rod Car Show, Swap meet, parts vendors, food court, seminars, Octave Museum vintage planes, entertainment.

Each registered Runner/Walker will receive free admission to the “Rocking the Runway Firecracker Bash” on the evening of the race.

Entry Fees and Deadlines and Rules

• Register before June 14 and pay only $20 (after June 14, registration fee is $25).
• Your registration form and payment must be received by 4 p.m. on June 14 to receive a race shirt!
• Entry fee of $10 for kids 10 and under registered by June 14. $15 for entrants registered after June 14 and on race day.
• Race day registration and packet pickup from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• No pets, bicycles, roller blades or skate boards are allowed on the race course.

Divisions and Awards

• 5K Divisions Male & Female 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.
• Walkers Division Male & Female 10 and under, 11 and over.
• Trophies presented to the 1^st overall male and female runners in the 5K. Awards will be presented to 1^st – 3^rd places in each age division of the 5K race and Walkers race.

Each registered Runner/Walker will receive free admission to the “Rocking the Runway Firecracker Bash” on the evening of the race.

Exhibitor set-up is from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. If you are interested please act quickly, as space is limited to the first 63 exhibitors. You can register online now.

The route will start at the parking lot on the corner of 136 and Maplewood .  The Chamber needs help from the community to make the event happen.  We need financial sponsorships and assistance with ideas, planning, promotion and the event itself.
