Rantoul Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
The 2006 Rantoul Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors are (in order of the photo above) Jeff Banister, Steve Combest, Connie Franzen (Vice President), Angie Hertel (Secretary), David Kruger, Denny Long (President), Joe Bolser (Executive Director). Missing from the photo is the Village Administrator.

The Board of Directors shall be composed of eight(8) members, seven(7) of which will be elected and one appointed by the Village of Rantoul. Directors shall be elected as follows: two (2) shall be elected annually to serve for three years, or until their successors are elected and every third year, three(3) will be elected. In no event shall any individual serve more than two(2) consecutive terms on the Board of Directors. Any vacancy exceeding two years shall be considered a full term. The representative of the Village of Rantoul shall serve for a term decided by the Village of Rantoul.The election of board members is done in August each year.

The government and policy-making responsibilities of the Chamber shall be vested in the Board of Directors, which shall control its property, be responsible for its finances, and direct its affairs.

The Executive Director shall serve on the Board in an ex officio capacity.
